During my master studies, I examined the manual sign BİT (finish) and nonmanual marker 'bn', which are perfective markers in TİD. My findings showed that they have different selectional properties in terms of event class even though both can co-occur. 'bn' is the perfective marker whose equivalent in other sign languages is mostly a manual sign. This not only shows that TİD behaves typologically different than other sign languages but shades more light on the functions of nonmanual markers, that is the least known part of sign language grammars.
