Following the inquiry on nonmanual markers, I collaborate with Dr. Aslı Gürer to understand how information structure is conveyed in Turkish Sign Language. We first examine how focus and its subtypes are marked in TİD. By building on these findings, I am interested in how the nonmanual markers used in information structure interacts with other nonmanual markers and affects the signer's epistemic commitment to the proposition.
